Letter to the Echo - need to focus on the house numbers and questioning the building on Green Belt - not politics
Here's a letter published in the Echo on 19th January 2016. Certain politicians in Basildon have suggested that Billericay is getting off lightly and that more homes should be built in our town. This letter echoes BAG's view that it is the excessive number of houses along with the choice to build on Green Belt that is wrong. Politicians should be working on behalf of all the Borough’s residents and not indulging in an unhelpful game of “anywhere but my ward"

Aims of BAG
To protect the green belt around Billericay from development.
