Consultation Format
When you go to the consultation home page you will be presented with 11 proposals or chapters under the heading Have Your Say.
Further down the page you will see an interactive Navigational Map of the proposed development locations. See comments about this below.
You can close and return to the consultation later so please do not think you have to do it all on one go. Any comments made will be saved but remember to add your email address. A prompt to do so is at the bottom of each chapter page.
As far we can tell it is not possible to go back and edit any comments you submitted previously, but it appears to be possible to go back to the same chapter and make new or additional comments.
The 11 proposals/chapters are as follows.
1.Spatial Portrait
This is read only. No comments are required.

10.Urban Capacity Sites
Click on the link (top right) to access a map where you can drop a pin in a location and add comments. If you do this, please use it to say, with reasons, where you don't want to see development.
11.Document Library
We do not believe there is any need to read all of the documents. Some are mandatory documents and are largely technical assessments made by a third party for the council.
However, a full copy of the Local Plan can be found here that brings together all of the separate chapters and documents as listed above, plus a copy og the Policy Map showing the scale of proposed development areas right across the borough. Click the following links to see those two documents.

This interactive map on the home page shows the proposed development locations for housing (H), alternative housing (AS), in-fill (IF) and employment (E).
Click or hover over the areas to open a dialogue box leading to more information. You might need to zoom in or out of the map to get the dialogue box to open when you click on an area.
This is an important part of the consultation as it is where you can object to the proposed development areas. Please complete this!
