These maps show the latest position regarding approved planning applications, applications yet to be decided and where planning applications are expected.
Blue = sites where a planning application is expected from land promoter information
Yellow = planning applications currently open for comments or objections
Purple = planning applications beyond consultation period, awaiting decision (not yet approved or rejected (*appeal submitted)
Green = planning applications decided (committee or appeal refused (* appeal submitted)
Red = planning applications decided (committee or appeal approved)
Where an * is shown the applicant has submitted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. This can be either be against a refusal, or where an application
has not been decided within a reasonable period of time it is a non-determination appeal.

The map below is our representation of the Policies Map taken from the draft Basildon Local Plan Regulation 18 consultation 2025/6. It shows where the council proposes to allow development should the Local Plan be adopted. Its worth noting that the planning applications above very closely adhere to the same areas.
