Phase 2 of BAG’s plan to post a leaflet to every home is now underway. The first saw 5,000 delivered to West Billericay during August. We are now focusing on East Billericay, South Green and the Bursteads. Delivery routes have been identified (the coloured bits of our super-secret map!) and we are now allocating these to our superb volunteers.
Here we show approximately 6,300 leaflets (new and updated!) that will be delivered to the East and South-West areas of Billericay, with our current estimate of another 1,200 for South Green and Great Burstead being sorted.
As part of one of our core principles of keeping the residents informed, on completion of this task we would have informed every household in the jurisdiction of Billericay Town of Basildon Borough Councils housing plans. Something that has never been done before by the council.
