It is time to get ready for the Issues & Options public consultation for the new Basildon Local Plan due to start on the 27 June and run for 10 weeks until the 5 September this year.
Basildon council would like to see residents use an new engagement portal as the primary method to submit responses to the consultation and it is now possible to register to access the system.

Please spread the word and get your family and friends to register too. There will be a version of the consultation aimed at 13-18 year old residents so please tell you children and grandchildren. As the new Local Plan will be in effect to 2042 it will be very pertinent to the current younger generation.
