The nature of the consultation means that it’s not practical to provide comments or even answers to every section or question but we have focused on the areas that we think are most important.
These relate to the plan period, the number of houses, the type of houses, infrastructure and where any new development should take place.
We urge all of you to take part in the consultation because it’s important that we show Basildon council what we are keen to see in the Local Plan before they start to allocate development sites. Once they do that it will be very difficult to get them changed at a later stage. Now is the time to speak out.
